February was an eventful and important month for Wil and I.
Finally, after months of searching, we found
THE house!
We were scheduled to view 3 properties that Saturday morning, but none of them was desirable.
When we saw an open house sign for an owner-listed property a block away, we decided to check it out. Once we stepped inside the house, we both thought “This is it!”!
By the evening, we got the house!
We were excited and thankful that God had given us a beautiful house and that our real estate agents worked hard for our best interests.
I started a new position with BMO in the first week of February.
It was sad to leave behind the good friends I’ve made at Corporate Audit.
But after two and a half years, it’s time to move on and learn something different.
I would have never chosen Accounting Policy as a career a few years ago, but things have changed and I have changed. I suppose never say “never”. I am excited about this opportunity and am eager to pick up GAAP from where I left it (yeah I know... I'm such a nerd!)
Within a couple of weeks, Bruce and Janet managed to sell the condo at a good price to a couple who purchased it to rent.
Most importantly, the buyers had no agent representation so it saved us thousands of dollars in commissions.
